This is a great show! I love how it adds very under-appreciated superheroes like green arrow. The comedy is hilarious especially in the blue beetle episode. Although it is notgoodBTAS I still like it for different reasons. Overall it is a fun goofy show in the style of the old Adam West batman. I hope this series will catch on and go for many seasons. This show is great because it allows people to be able to watch a family friendly batman show. This show also has some very great and colorful animation unlike any other show on cartoon network. It has great team ups with lesser known B level superheroes like blue beetle,plastic man,green arrow,and red tornado. It's nice to know cartoon network finally has a new good show going for it!
After what must have been almost a year off of TV (actually only a few months), Batman returns to the mini-world of television with a new animated series. Let's just get this out of the way, this is not Batman: The Animated Series. Hell, it does not even try to mimic the former. This Batman is a whole lot less serious, and has an assortment of sidekicks including Blue Beetle and Green Arrow. There is also the return of huge gadgets and talkative villains and it tries to emulate the Superfriends art style. Though, the throwback animation style does fit in with the story they are telling.<br/><br/>While this series is obviously intended for two year olds, I've quite enjoyed the first few episodes. It wasn't too cheesy, but had its screwball moments (most of it takes place in space in which apparently Batman can breathe quite freely) and the show has potential with the ability to pull in a variety of characters from all over the DC universe. Also, the actor who played Batman is already miles ahead of Rino Romano.<br/><br/>The longevity of the show is in question with the lack of creativity. This is the type of show that can start falling back on the material they are actually trying to parody.

Batman: The Brave and The Bold animated series was announced at the Cartoon Network 2008-2009 upfront. The show is greenlit for at least 26 half-hour episodes. Batman: The Brave and The Bold will feature new character designs and a mix of voice actors both familiar and new to fans of the Batman. Producer James Tucker explained the unique structure of a typical Batman: The Brave and the Bold episode at comics news site Comic Book Resources: "[In each episode] there's a teaser the teaser is a stand-alone, mini-episode of Batman teaming up with a character," Tucker explained. "Then we'll run the main title, and after the main title, that's the main episode. And the main episode has nothing to do with the teaser for the most part. Some have a little trickle over, but for the most part the teasers are little three-minute episodes in and of themselves."Episode director Ben Jones had more to say to Comic Book Resources in a later story: As for whether or not "Batman: The Brave & The Bold" will feature long-running plots and stories worked out by the teama whole, Jones finished by saying that even though the single-episode story style is a major influence on the show, viewers who stick with "Batman: The Brave & The Bold" week in, week out will get some different kinds of continuity.<br/><br/>"There's one two-parter, but aside from that, there's not a long continuing arc for the storya whole," he said. "Individual guest stars–Blue Beetle most of all–when they return, they grow from their previous appearancescharacters. Theres a little bit of personal character continuity, but theres not a lot of overall story continuity. There's a bit of an arc in the second season, but I don't know how much I can say about that."
